dBD Communications supplies PrimeFlight with wireless system
dBD Communications has been selected by PrimeFlight Aviation Services to provide wireless systems for ground and cargo handling operations across North America.
The relationship started with discussions to improve communications in high-pressure ramp environments with dBD Communications’ system getting deployed in de-icing operations at first.
Building on this success, PrimeFlight has chosen dBD Communications to support pushback, towing and cargo handling operations.
David O’Connell, CEO of dBD Communication said: “Our wireless systems have a proven reputation internationally through adoption at key airport hubs, alongside bespoke support for defence aviation teams. We’re proud to bring that same level of safety, reliability, and efficiency to PrimeFlight’s global operations.”
David LaFay, Senior Director of Operational Excellence at PrimeFlight said: “Working with dBD Communications gives our teams access to communication systems that are proven, reliable, and built for the realities of ground handling. Extending this partnership across North American ensures consistency and confidence for our operations.”
The Minerva platform, a wireless duplex communication designed specifically for the demands of ground handling, is the foundation of dBD Communications’ aviation product family.
From the Minerva platform, operators can select the configuration for their needs, whether it is the Athena developed for two-man operations, or Apollo supporting multiple operators.
