Tempest_si_3 resizedOshkosh AeroTech launched its new de-icing machine, the Tempest-si at International GSE Expo 2025 in Las Vegas.

The compact de-icer offers a robust design that offers efficient movement across tight ramps, and its stainless steel body panels guard against corrosion.

It also features a redesigned fluid system for high utilisation.

Operator controls are designed to be easy to use and it has a single handheld nozzle for both de-ice and anti-ice applications.

The cab is designed for optimal visibility during de-icing operations.

Ground-level access to controls and major components promote safety and optimises uptime.

Jack Bermingham, Vice President and General Manager of Oshkosh AeroTech said: “We’re proud to continue our legacy of innovation with the introduction of the Tempest-si de-icer. The Tempest-si is designed to navigate congested ramps with the same durability and performance our customers expect from Oshkosh.”

The Tempest-si, along with other Oshkosh AeroTech products are on display at International GSE Expo at booth 4005.

International GSE Expo is being held from 16-18 September at the Las Vegas Convention Center (South Hall).
